THE BASICS: write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.


STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA.

** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!


STEP TWO

** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.


NOW LET'S SEE IT!

1. I think sensitive plants are kinda funny and i really wanna have one at home, touching it all day until i get a bad conscience because of picking on the poor little planty all day


2. Well, i live in vienna in austria and there's a cultural complexe called Museumsquartier. I really like it there and love the museums. So here we go: there's an annual ticket which i really really wanna have for christmas. I always have some financial problems, but with an annual ticket i'm able to keep my visits to these museums up


3. I'm a student at the university of vienna, studying German Studies. You can think of it ... i really like reading almost everything, every tiny piece of text. So my third wish: a lots of books and/or magacines!


4. I wish for snow! a lot of snow! i love it when you get the feeling of the whole city's slowing down


5. When it's getting dark early i love to light some candles, amazing warm light! makes me feel cosy. so go and get me some


6. Life's giving me a hard time for some very very long time. i always try to take it easy but it doesn't work most of the time. so i wish for some enjoyable time and that everything will be oke


7. I'm someone who doesn't need much friends. i'm happy with my family, my best friend M. and someone who loves me. but i want to meet my soulmate! i think it's time to show up!


8. I want to draw and paint and do handicrafts a lot more. i'm in need of every kind of supplies. colors, paper, brushes, glittery things and pens, etc. everything what crosses your mind


9. I have an obsession with music. So if you know some good bands or songs, leave me a note or comment with titel or name. i'm always searching for new stuff so i'll listen for sure!


10. i'm also happy about anything arty
